This is true for right handed hitters (majority of youth baseball players hit right handed 80%+)- . The reason for this is because most people assume hitting a baseball is done with all arms/hands. Give a bat to a person and tell them to swing slowly, their body will not move. Just their arms. And this is casting.
Give somebody the NoCastBat, put the ball where it would be right down Homeplate, middle of their body, now have them put the flat part of the bat on the ball. Their body will naturally start to turn so they can get their hands in front of the ball and the flat part of the bat on the ball.
