Inside the Swing

Frequently Asked Questions

Other “nocast” devices are either too light, too heavy or oddly shaped compared to real game bats.  The light bats allow players to cheat the swing by just using hand-eye coordination.

No Cast Bat Focuses on
Game Time results by utilizing the same weights as a performance bat.  The
NoCAST Bat reinforces correct swing mechanics with every swing boosting the
muscle memory that will help you drive the ball hard in every at bat.

The half-bat design instantly teaches correct hand positioning at contact.  Players that lunge will immediately recognize their issue (they never think they lunge!) when hitting off the tee.  Instead of rolling over or cutting the ball (lunge), players learn the natural feel of driving through the ball — no complicated instructions required.

This unique design feature helps hitters keep their hands inside the ball. The NoCAst Design will help you or your players learn naturally the kinetic chain of power transfer

If you want to get really scientific about it, this design will help your player learn naturally how the kinetic chain of power works.  Energy is transferred from the ground through the body to the bat.

NoCastBat teaches how to generate maximum power using the body through repetitions.  You could sit your player down and we could walk thru the science of this, or just pick up the NoCastBat and just start playing!  There is no getting around it, you will hit nukes with enough practice!

This is true for right handed hitters (majority of youth baseball players hit right handed 80%+)-  .  The reason for this is because most people assume hitting a baseball is done with all arms/hands.  Give a bat to a person and tell them to swing slowly, their body will not move.  Just their arms.  And this is casting.

Give somebody the NoCastBat, put the ball where it would be right down Homeplate, middle of their body, now have them put the flat part of the bat on the ball.  Their body will naturally start to turn so they can get their hands in front of the ball and the flat part of the bat on the ball.  Players will naturally start driving the ball to all parts of the field.  Right field will no longer be a hideout for youth coaches!

We’re not saying you can fire your coach—but most youth players learn best by doing. Their brains don’t always process terms like “kinetic chain” or even common cues like “squish the bug” or “elbow up.” Kids learn through repetition, fun, and feel. That’s why we built the NoCastBat—to let them train on their own, with friends, and naturally build the skills that launch balls to the opposite-field gap. Oppo Taco is no longer just a dream.

At the same time, the NoCastBat isn’t only for kids. Professional and advanced hitters use it to reinforce correct swing mechanics without coaching intervention. It’s excellent for pregame warmups, tee work, and machine-pitch drills—keeping the hands inside, eliminating the cast, and locking in a powerful, repeatable swing.
